By profession, Roger Swann is a director of a busy electronics company
specialising in the design and manufacture of microprocessor based control
systems including hardware design and PCB layout, Windows software applications
and embedded software development (www.cigol.com). His spare time is devoted to
music (as both a performer and audience member (these days with a particular
emphasis on opera)). Other enthusiasms include hill walking and the challenging
business of wine tasting. He can be seen working hard at the cross-trainer and
the rowing machine (5km = 23min) as well as ploughing up and down the swimming
pool (rough crawl) at the local gym, reasonably frequently.
