Fantastic (Completed in June
2017) (Zip file is a complete set of parts and the full score)
Fantastic was written specifically for the individual players of COMA
East Midlands as a result of 17 years of inspiration from it's dedicatee,
Kieran O'Riordan who was MD of COMA East Midlands for this lengthy period. It
was first performed at Kieran's final concert as MD of the ensemble on 17th
June 2017 in Nottigham.
The dedication printed in the score reads as follows:
For Kieran ORiordan, COMA East Midlands Musical Director from
2001 to 2017. With gratitude for all his boundless enthusiasm, patience and
expertise which made being a member of COMA East Midlands a stimulating and
satisfying experience.
The score and parts were type set by
Sarah Chamberlain who's
generosity with her time was very much appreciated

Just Sit (Completed in
June 2014)
Just Sit had it's world premier performance at the COMA East Midlands
concert on Saturday 5th July 2014 at St Judes Church Hall, Mapperley,
Nottingham. It is the composer's first experiment with using a computer to
control musicians.
The Just Sit download is
a 4MB zip file. It contains a windows install file that installs the software
on a Windows machine. It is a 32 bit windows application and runs correctly on
Win XP, Win 7 (32bit) and Win 7 (64bit). It will almost certainly run on all
versions of Windows above and including Win XP. The installed software includes
several pdf files with performance notes, rehearsal advice, and historical
background (available from the help menu of the software). Once installed the
software can be uninstalled by using the standard Windows control panel
"uninstall" system.
